The Régalon Gorges

Leaving from the Luberon village of Mérindol, this slightly strenuous hike through the Régalon gorges is a magical experience.

The crossing of the narrow gorges is playful, and at times, you may need to use your hands to navigate some rocky formations. Don’t worry; it’s doable and much more impressive than complicated.

Between these two cliffs, you’ll find a magical atmosphere that stimulates the imagination. Who knows, you might even encounter a fairy…

The rest of the hike follows trails through the forest and along the ridge until you return to the car.

A very nice walk in the régalon gorges to do with the family, providing a bit of coolness in the gorges during hot summer days.
