Canoe Descent of the Sorgue

The Sorgue is an unusual river with significant historical, ecological, and landscape richness. You can explore it with two providers offering guided routes from Fontaine de Vaucluse to L’isle sur la Sorgue. Here, refreshment is guaranteed with a water temperature around 13 degrees, even in summer! A family activity that will please both young and old.

Relaxation and Swimming in the Durance

Stretching 324km, the Durance is the most significant river in Provence. To take a dip, head to the south side of Luberon.
We recommend the banks of Lauris to lay your towel in the shade and jump into the water!
The site is simple and natural but well-shaded, and swimming is very pleasant on hot summer days.

Change of Scenery on the Blue Coast

A bit further away, a visit to the Blue Coast and a swim in the Mediterranean will be a memorable day trip!
The landscapes are beautiful, and this coast, although less known than the calanques of Marseille, is a paradise for nature lovers. The blue of the sea perfectly complements the green of the pine trees, and the coves there are intimate and transport you out of time…

Various water sports are possible from the small town of Carry le Rouet: stand-up paddle, canoeing, catamarans… and several beaches and coves stretch for kilometers.
