With around 850 routes equipped spread across a limestone renowned for its verticality and technical difficulty, theOrgon site forms part of the historic milestones in rock climbing in Provence.   • The Beauregard sector: A very steep face, renowned for its challenging grades (from 6c to 8a) and its unobstructed views over the Durance riverbed.
  • The Canal: New facilities, a variety of routes, very popular in spring and autumn.

  • The climbing routes at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (La Caume): A 20-minute drive away, offering spectacular rock faces in a protected environment.

Yes, the pitch areas allow for the grouping together of tents, vehicles light and trailers for the mountaineering clubs or groups of friends.

What are the rules for accessing the Alpilles mountains in summer?

From 1 June to 30 September, access to woodland areas is regulated by a prefectural order to prevent fires. Please remember to check the official access map for woodland areas in the Bouches-du-Rhône – which is updated every evening at 6 pm – before setting off to climb.
